Simon's Raise Devlog #0
After finally realizing that the Brackeys game jam started, I posted looking for a partner. Stenor responded to me, and I messaged him on discord. When he responded, after familiarizing ourselves with each, we started discussing ideas. After tossing arounda couple of ideas, including a game where you slowly gain eldritch knowledge, and a more literal interpretation, where you dive deeper into the ocean, we eventually decided to make a game about an office worker DIVING DEEPER into his work.
The game would be a mainly narrative focused game, with the gameplay being a set of minigames connecting each piece of the story. After deciding that the first minigame would be based around sorting files, I bid him good luck and went to bed. Since it was day where he was, I was excited to see what he would do while I was asleep.
